Available at Bennies Fifties and the online Fifties Store

Release Me (And Let Me Love Again) brings together two fascinating early Dolly Parton recordings on a collectable red 7-inch vinyl single. Both tracks were recorded in Nashville in 1963, when Parton was only sixteen years old and still at the very beginning of what would become an extraordinary career.

The A-side features Release Me (And Let Me Love Again), offering an intriguing opportunity to hear Dolly's unmistakable voice years before she became an international country superstar and one of Nashville's most celebrated songwriters.

On the B-side is Makin’ Believe. Together, these two vintage recordings provide a musical snapshot of Parton's formative Nashville years, rooted firmly in the sound of traditional country music.

This collectable edition was released on November 18, 2022 through Stardust Records and is pressed on striking Red Vinyl. Blue and magenta editions were also produced, making the different pressings particularly appealing to Dolly Parton and coloured-vinyl collectors.

The red pressing carries catalogue number CLO3343SP-RD and UPC/EAN 0889466334344.

A charming piece of early Dolly Parton history for fans of traditional country, vintage recordings and collectable coloured 7-inch vinyl.
