6H2N Amp Tube Is Eq 6N2P / ECC83 / 12AX7

The 6H2N-EB (6N2P) has the same specifications as the ECC83 / 12AX7, except for the filament connections. The 6N2P cannot be placed directly in the foot of an ECC83 or 12AX7. The differences are as follows:

The filaments can be switched separately on this model. Two filaments are placed between pins 4 and 5. Pin 9 is center terminal of the filament. The two filaments require a 150mA @ 6.3V power supply. Because the filaments are in series, the tube can also be powered with 150 mA @ 12.6 V between pins 4 and 5. The filaments can also be put in parallel. Pins 4 and 5 are then connected together so that a supply of 300mA @ 6.2V is required between pins 4+5 and 9.
